Investigating the impact of financial crisis on the banking industry
The financial crisis occurred due to many economic factors and reasons. There are several factors that contribute towards the downfall of the economy. Crisis means economy becomes incompetent and ineffectual to sustain.
This research study is undertaken to measure the impact of 2008 financial crisis on the banking industry of UK. It examines the factors that were majorly responsible for happening of these crises.
For that purpose, primary data has been collected from management people of the large commercial banks in the UK. For the collection of primary data, interview approach has been adopted under which face to face interaction will be done with bank officials.
