Analysis of profitability of banks â€“ comparative studies of domestic and foreign banks
Profitability is a significant factor for different banks operating in the industry. The inflow and outflow of cash in the banks is required to be efficient and balanced then only these banks will be able to deliver effectual financial services to their customers. Domestic banks are those which are operating within the local economy, and foreign banks are those which are operating beyond international boundaries. This research study evaluates the profitability difference between domestic and foreign banks operating in the UK. It tries to find the answer to the question that whether foreign banks are more profitable than local banks?
