Introduction
Self-reflection is using time to analyse personal skills to determine the strengths and weakness to be improved to develop better efficiency in executing task. Driscoll’s reflective model is to be used in reflecting regarding personal skills, which is particularly beneficial when seeking education dissertation help. This is because it is easier to be implemented in systematically executing reflection and allows straightforward analysis of skills to determine strength and weakness (Devet, 2018).
What?
In executing assignments in the module, I was reviewed by the teacher to mention that I present data creatively and meet deadlines. However, I lack the ability to make improvements as per feedback as seen with sentence structure as well as express poor organisation skills. I also lack ability to determine the way to resolve stress on own and fail to guide others when asked for assistance as a leader.
So What?
The ability to present data creatively and abiding by specific rules while presenting the information indicate I have enhanced creativity and disciple skills. These skills are essential in academic as creative skills ensure innovative of data with new scope for learning (Srikoon et al., 2018). Moreover, the disciple skills ensure effective presence of focus on meeting goals in the study along with ensure the work is done with quality and priortity (Ghiasvand et al., 2017). The other strength includes working with dedication which is important in academic field as it helps me as the learner to show greater focus in studies and accomplish better grades out of showing enhanced learning potential. However, my weakness is lack of time organisation skills leads me to manage actions in haphazard manner. This is a threat as without effective time organisation ability, effective goals and objectives to prioritise task would not be accomplished which would create stress and anxiety in studies (Yondonperenlei and Natsag, 2020). The hindered problem-solving ability would impact academically to fail in resolving issues and dependent on others for assistance that may not always be available (Zhang et al., 2018). The weakness of making communication in academic would lead me unable to communicate my doubts and led them to remain unresolved which would hinder my improvement in academics.
Now What?
In order to improve communication skills, I would involve in communication training so that I can understand and determine the strategies to be used in facilitating interaction in class to ensure resolving the doubts. I would also engage in initiative communication with my peers and lecturers to gain confidence and efficiency in making enhanced communication which I currently avoid doing. I would improve my organisation skill for the future by scheduling tasks so that prioritisation of them is effectively accomplished and determine which actions are to be performed after another action. The problem-solving skill is to be improved by interacting with lecturers to understand the actions to be used to better understand the problem and resolve it on my own.
Conclusion
The reflection concludes that I have enhanced creative, disciple and dedication skills but my weakened skills are communication, time organisation and problem-solving. They are to be improved through attending training and workshops along with accessing assistance from lecturers.
