Premise 1

The countries should not be run like the companies, where the politicians and government of the country must consider the other public services and activities in the society which are different from the perspectives of the companies. There are several public services such as health and social services, protecting wellbeing of the individuals through social working activities, investing social welfare projects and others. Hence, it can be stated that, there is difference in running the country and the organisations.

Premise 2

Profit versus people is one of the major arguments through which it can be roved that the countries should not be run like the companies. The organisations corporate mission is to maximise profitability by incorporating diverse components in the business. On the other hand, the vision of the government is to provide the best services to all the citizens through common goods like roads, schools, health care services and police protections. Through technological advancement and business creativity, the multinational corporations try to be creative and make profit by delivering the best quality products and services to the customers. It is beneficial for the government to focus on the constitution of the country and manage the ethical and legal practices to create values for the social communities as a whole. Rather than profit maximisation, the government of the country focuses on maximising welfare of the social communities.

The country must not be run like the organisations, as the government and political parties focus on maximising the welfare of the citizens across the social communities, where the corporate firms mainly aims at maximising their profitability by delivering the best quality products and services. The corporations mainly invest for short run projects and raise their capital day by day; however, the government must invest in long run projects with the aim of social development. On the other hand, the government must need to arrange capital and invest in long run project in order to maximise social welfare rather than profitability.

Premise 4

Customer versus constituents is another major point to prove that the countries should not be run like the corporate firms. The companies have the luxury of dumping a line of business, as it aims at choosing the streamline to offer the best quality products and services. The government is concerned about following the constituents, where the corporate firms are concerned about their customers in order to maximise their satisfaction and strengthen their customers base to gain high market share. The legal rules and legalisations to manage the people in the country are developed and managed well by the government and it has strong power to control the economy and manage the political situation.

The institutional aim of the government and the multinational corporations is different from each other, where the government aim is to follow the legal activities and create values for the overall social communities. On the other hand, the corporations mainly focus on creating values for the customers in order to retain them and gain high competitive advantage. Through retaining the customers, the firms try to maximise their profitability and sustain in the market in long run. Thus, it has been explored that, there are differences in running an organisation and leading the country sustainably by creating values for the society.

Shareholders versus citizens are also major factors for understanding the phenomenon that the countries should not be run like the organisations. There are politicians, who are engaged with the government of the country and the prime minister must manage the politician and also follow the regulations and constitution of the country to run the country successfully, as there are millions of citizens who are managed well under the government. Hence, the government is concerned about the values of the citizens through social developmental projects so that they can get the public services. On the other hand, the multinational corporations are concerned about competition in the market and strategies their business for gaining high competitive advantage.

Premise 1

The countries must be run like the corporate firms across the globe; where through continuous improvement and creativity are the main strategy of the corporate leaders to achieve success. The government is all about considering the public interest, where the government of the country is concerned about improving welfare of the individuals. Thus for welfare maximisation, it is mandatory to improve creativity and innovation in order to create values for the social communities as a whole. The private firms try to have continuous growth through business creativity and strategic planning. The government also should focus on strategic intervention plan to create for the people, so that the government innovation can be enhanced in long run to achieve higher.

Premise 2

The government are taking care of all the people across the country; on the other hand, the private firms are concerned about the investors and other stakeholders. However, it is essential for the government to identify he stakeholders and create the values for the citizens as a whole. The government must create values for the stakeholders such as politicians, investors, franchisee, employees and others, through which it is possible for the government to take care of the social communities by providing them good quality public services. By following the strategy of creating values of the stakeholders, it is also possible for the government to manage the stakeholders in the public sector and run the country in a systematic way.

Premise 3

Government must constantly confront competing values, where the private firms are always concerned about gaining high competitive advantage. There is no such competition in the government or the public sector, for which there is lack of continuous improvement and creativity in making social welfare. Hence, the government should follow the strategy of the private corporate firms and ensure continuous improvement and creativity by confronting the competing values. It is the most efficient solution for managing the constitutional rights and creating values for the citizens of the country.

Premise 4

The corporate leaders focus on quality supervision and developing reporting through annual report activities. It is also essential for the government to have quality supervisions and scrutiny in order to analyse their activities and evaluate investment in the social developmental projects. Hence, the government must run the country like the companies through continuous improvement and quality supervision, so that the politicians and investors can develop good strategic intervention planning for creating social values.

Premise 5

Technological advancement is another component to achieve success more uniquely, where all the multinational corporate firms implement latest technology and develop creative brand infrastructure in order to enhance innovation in running their operations. However, in the government agencies and public service offices, there is lack of technical innovation due to poor investment planning. It is important for the government to adopt new technology and software system to manage their tasks more creatively within effective time and allocated budget. Hence, the government must follow the strategic planning of the companies to make the public service available for all the social communities where technological innovation further provides a scope to the government to enhance communication and cooperation with the citizens to maximise their welfare by accessing suitable public services.

Premise 6

Preparing budget and negotiation process are also strategic planning of the companies, where the corporate firs are looking for collaborative business and partnership working in order to garb market opportunities. The government should run the country like the companies for better budgeting system and arranging the capital investment. The government can develop good negotiation process by involving the stakeholders in order to have good investment planning. The government should also focus on developing budget and arrange capital through negotiation and collaborative decision making practice, so that the lawyers, politicians and ministers can participate in the decision making practice and develop the best solution for creating good public services in order to serve the citizens innovatively.
