The countries should not be run like the companies, where the politicians and government of the country must consider the other public services and activities in the society which are different from the perspectives of the companies. There are several public services such as health and social services, protecting wellbeing of the individuals through social working activities, investing social welfare projects and others. Hence, it can be stated that, there is difference in running the country and the organisations.

Profit versus people is one of the major arguments through which it can be roved that the countries should not be run like the companies. The organisations corporate mission is to maximise profitability by incorporating diverse components in the business. On the other hand, the vision of the government is to provide the best services to all the citizens through common goods like roads, schools, health care services and police protections. Through technological advancement and business creativity, the multinational corporations try to be creative and make profit by delivering the best quality products and services to the customers. It is beneficial for the government to focus on the constitution of the country and manage the ethical and legal practices to create values for the social communities as a whole. Rather than profit maximisation, the government of the country focuses on maximising welfare of the social communities.

The corporations mainly invest for short run projects and raise their capital day by day; however, the government must invest in long run projects with the aim of social development. On the other hand, the government must need to arrange capital and invest in long run project in order to maximise social welfare rather than profitability.

The government also should focus on strategic intervention plan to create for the people, so that the government innovation can be enhanced in long run to achieve higher.

The government are taking care of all the people across the country; on the other hand, the private firms are concerned about the investors and other stakeholders. However, it is essential for the government to identify he stakeholders and create the values for the citizens as a whole. The government must create values for the stakeholders such as politicians, investors, franchisee, employees and others, through which it is possible for the government to take care of the social communities by providing them good quality public services. By following the strategy of creating values of the stakeholders, it is also possible for the government to manage the stakeholders in the public sector and run the country in a systematic way.

Government must constantly confront competing values, where the private firms are always concerned about gaining high competitive advantage. There is no such competition in the government or the public sector, for which there is lack of continuous improvement and creativity in making social welfare. Hence, the government should follow the strategy of the private corporate firms and ensure continuous improvement and creativity by confronting the competing values. It is the most efficient solution for managing the constitutional rights and creating values for the citizens of the country.

The corporate leaders focus on quality supervision and developing reporting through annual report activities. It is also essential for the government to have quality supervisions and scrutiny in order to analyse their activities and evaluate investment in the social developmental projects. Hence, the government must run the country like the companies through continuous improvement and quality supervision, so that the politicians and investors can develop good strategic intervention planning for creating social values.
