Assessment of Educational and Professional Growth

Reflective assessment provides a scope to analyses the skill and abilities related to personal education and professional career in order to assess understanding and capabilities as well as develop further professional skill development plan for future achievements (Tanaka, Okamoto and Koide, 2018). This reflective study provides a scope to analyse the products developmental skill and professional capabilities in both education field and professional career, where it is helpful for me to review my skill and knowledge and analyse my capabilities in long run (Sekarwinahyu et al., 2019). I would like to discuss my experience and knowledge through this self-reflective model and develop further skill developmental plan to enhance my skill set.

Throughout the coursework, I try to improve my academic knowledge and professional skill in order to fulfil my career objectives. The academic skills such as writing style, presentation skill, grammar and vocabulary in writing the context as well as referencing style are helpful for me to achieve academic success and improve understanding and knowledge on my study area. On the other hand, the professional skills such as communication, emotional intelligence, problem solving and decision making skill set are fruitful for me to achieve career objectives and maximise my performance in future. Through the reflective essay, it is possible to recognise own skill and abilities in academic field as well as professional practice so that it would be possible for me to achieve career objectives.

The individual can review their personal skill and abilities and share the experience further through reflective assessment (Dhaliwal, Singh and Singh, 2018). As per my experience, I try to concentrate on my educational activities and gather vast knowledge for further performance in managing organisational decision, products development and operational activities. I always tried hard to utilise my knowledge in my personal field of education. Additionally, I try to gather experience in my professional career where I collaborate with others so that I can share my knowledge and gather more skill set from others. It further provides me a scope to manage the working relationship with others. I have also tried to improve my understanding at the workplace in order to develop emotional intelligence, which is one of the effective professionals skill set for working with others at the organisation. Individual performance is necessary to be improved over the period of time and I also tried hard to develop my skill set and improve performance at the organisation during the employment.

Sharing feeling is important to reflect upon individual skill and abilities (Tawanwongsri and Phenwan, 2019). Feeling is important to be shared with other at the workplace as well as during education so that it is possible to seek help from the peers and achieve future success in professional career. I feel that, I got support from the professionals and I also tried hard to improve my abilities over the period of time where I try to contribute in organisational decision and develop products. I feel that the workplace and educational activities provide me a scope to manage my abilities and enhance my expertise in long run. I always try to cooperate with others and ask questions and seek help for better understanding. Additionally, I also feel that, it is necessary for me to enhance communication skill in order to enhance my performance and manage the workforce successfully in the professional career.

For further evaluation, it is necessary to review own performance and develop more skill to achieve future success. For achieving educational success and fulfilling the career objectives, it is mandatory for me to gather more skill in my educational field and utilise the skill set in professional career (Markkanen et al., 2020). In this regard, I tried hard to improve my communication skill and develop time management skill, which are necessary to improve performance. Prioritising the tasks, utilising products development skill and creative knowledge in the professional filed as well as continuous improvement is effective for me to enhance my performance. I also try to work hard and develop creative solutions in the workplace which further provide me a scope to maximise my creative thinking practice.

In the recent technological advancement, there are different modes of communication such as verbal communication, face to face, ICT, email and other employee portal which are beneficial to enhance interaction skill. I try to utilise different modes of communication so that I can interact with others and represent my thoughts in front of others. On the other hand, through continuous improvement of products design and service innovation management, developing emotional intelligence, I try to improve my behaviour, and show respect and integrity towards others at the workplace. This further helps me to lead the individuals at the workplace and maximise my leadership skill in near future (Sekarwinahyu et al., 2019).

Throughout the experience gathering in both education and professional field, I tried hard to maximise my skill set and knowledge in order to apply the knowledge in my professional career. Throughout my career, I try to utilise my knowledge and develop creativity to propose further solutions to the organisations. Additionally, I also tried hard to enhance communication skill and improve problem solving and decision making skill, which are mandatory to achieve the professional career objectives. In addition to this, time management skill, respect others; emotional intelligence and interpersonal skill set are also fruitful for me to enhance my performance and productivity in long run.

As per the action plan, it is possible for the individual to create personal and professional development plan for further improvement in educational and professional career. I hereby would like to enhance my communication skill by enhancing fluency in verbal communication and representing my thought in more concise and clear way. Additionally, creative analytical skill is necessary for me to improve knowledge in duct development and making good organisational decision. On the other hand, I would like to develop my leadership skill through which it would be possible for me to achieve professional career goal by leading the people and making creative decision in the corporate firms.
